What to Bring
River Ridge East Birth Centre will provide you with some of the necessities you and your baby will need (for example maternity pads, nappies and baby wipes). At your Antenatal Classes you will be given a list of suggested items to pack, and your LMC midwife may also suggest things you will need to bring for labour and birth, and for your postnatal stay.
CHECKLIST FOR MUM
- Front opening Pyjamas/Nightwear
- Dressing Gown
- Slippers
- Cotton Underwear x10
- Breastfeeding bras x3
- Comfortable, loose fitting clothes
- Toiletries
- Clothes for going home
CHECKLIST FOR BABY
- Light blanket or muslin wraps x2
- Singlets or bodysuits size 0000 or 000 x2
- Babygrow/onesie x2
- Booties/Socks/Mittens
- Woollen Hat x2
- Woollen Cardigan x2
- Clothes for going home
- Car seat for baby
