If you wish to capture the special moment of welcoming your new baby into the world through photographs, River Ridge will welcome your chosen photographer into the birthing room and/or postnatal room for you when you desire.
Placenta Encapsulation
Placenta encapsulation is the practice of encapsulating the placenta to be made into pills for ingestion. It is fairly common for mothers to keep their placenta to be encapsulated, buried, or preserved in jewelry, etc. If you wish to encapsulate your placenta, let your midwife know who will pass the information onto us so we can prepare the placenta for you to take home.
